Meditation Areas

Our 52-acre property offers many serene spaces ideal for meditation.

These are three areas that have been developed.

One of these is our chapel, located on the second floor of the main building. Our altar was built by Brother Arpanananda(Brahmachari Carl) and was used by the Richmond Temple Sunday School. Later by the San Francisco Meditation Group, and has now found its home with us.

(b) “The Nest” . This area is in a grove of large oak and douglas fir trees just off the drive way and overlooking the main building. Defined by a circle of tree stumps and iris, the center features two light blue concrete eggs.

(c)“Permanent Chapel site”. This area is another circle of tree stumps under oak trees that needs to be cleared to make way for a large permanent chapel. The tree canopy has been raised so that those who currently use this area may enjoy the views.
