The Colony is at an elevation of 3,500’ on 52 acres atop Spyrock Ridge. Featuring dense forests of oak, Douglas fir, Manzanita and Madrone trees, with meadows and countless mountain views that stretch to the Pacific Ocean. A network of service roads connects the main building to various suitable meadows for camping, and parking areas. There are currently 3 outdoor meditation areas in addition to the large chapel on the second floor of the main building.
The main building has (a) a kitchen with 2 refrigerators, propane stove, microwave, and large pantry, (b) a large dining room with 2 tables and 8 chairs, (c) a large living room with a sofa bed, (d) a bedroom with a queen-size bed. There are 2 additional twin beds, (e) an ADA compliant bathroom downstairs and a toilet upstairs, (f) an office.
A camping area has been cleared for tents and one tent platform.
The main building does have wifi and some cell phone coverage.
Meals are provided as part of your reservation.
Retreat Programs
Lotus Chapel Colony currently offers 4 retreat programs: (1) General Guest, (2) Service Guest, (3)Resident, and (4)Summer Resident(June 10-August 10).
Service Guests and Residents are expected to participate in the SRF Spiritual Life of the community – group practice of Master’s Energization Exercises, morning and evening group meditations and a 6-hour meditation on Sundays, eating in silence, and practicing the Presence of God and our Gurus when we serve.
Requirements for Visiting
Visitors should have a sincere interest in Guruji”s Teachings. Participation in our ashram-like meditation schedule and respect for periods of silence is expected. Fees are modified according to your requests.
